Meet Lil Chaser

Tell us about yourself: I am 27 year old chaser. I have been a gamer as long as I can remember. I played Asteroids on the original Atari and played all the Zelda and Final Fantasy games that were released in Europe and the US. I have a background in Computer Science, but ended up working for a video game company as a translator, then as a tester.

Favorite Games: That’s a tough one. The final fantasy series is probably my all-time favorite (even if the last ones they put out were…kind of mediocre), World of Warcraft and even the old school Secret of Mana and pretty much all RPG and MMORPG. I also have to acknowledge my Nintendo friends.

I grew up with Mario and Zelda and I am still a big fan of their games. I am pretty good at fighting games, from Street Fighter to Tekken, Dead or Alive, as well as Mortal Kombat. Challenge anyone? I am not the best at FPS unfortunately, but I can play decently. Seriously, I could go on and on about all the games I love, but when I start talking about video games, I end up all excited, I turn red, and there is a chance of an explosion, so I should keep it “somewhat” short. 😉 Working for a video game company is kinda cool, I get to play for work and play at home for my own pleasure. 🙂

Favorite Bear/Bara Characters in Media: Playing my Bear in World of Warcraft counts? I can’t help it, I love big fluffy things.  Also the naughty bear game (no it is not porn) was fun as hell. Truth be told, I have seen many bears and pandas in so many anime/video games that I can’t remember them all. For example “My Neighbor Totoro” from Miyazaki has one of the most adorable creatures in it (yes I am nerd with a side of geek).

But I think we should have WAY more bears in the movie/anime/video game industry, and I am talking about the animal as well as the humans ;). There is nothing cuter than a cuddly bear.
