Here Comes the Brute Squad (Champions Online)
Speaking of Bara friendly guilds, we’d like to highlight one from Champions Online. The Brute Squad is one such guild comprised of hunky men who chat and role-play on two separate channels.
If you happen to be in the neighborhood, be sure to ask for an invite into the group by joining the [Brutes] chat channel. Now, before you join, please be sure to have a Bara character. Once accepted, you can opt-in to their lite roleplaying channel [Bearbar].
Meet The Brute Squad
Open Jon R. Bastglow Profile
One cool, starry night in Millennium City he set out to his favorite park and started building his spell circle–sacred stone by sacred stone from Pier One. He worked throughout the night, naming and acknowledging the houses of Oberon, the aqueducts of Babylon, the territories of Narnia, the layers of Hell and the Gates of Heaven. He read prayers, sutras, incantations and curses. When it was over he felt no different. Feeling rather silly, he packed up his things and returned home.
His first transformation caught him unexpectedly. Instead of summoning an astral guide during the ritual he had become one instead. He tore out of his clothes, let out a savage lion roar, scared everyone away, chased a few pigeons and took a nap in a tree.
Eventually he learned to mostly control his powers and was quickly swept up into a superhero role due to the crises in Millennium City.
Open Ja'hal the Relentless Profile
He walked among them in the shape of humans, for his true presence cannot be perceived by the lower life forms without consequences. In the mythologies among different cultures on Earth, Ja’Hal the Relentless is known as god of the wind.
Open T’zharr Mordarius M’ok Profile
resided in and his eternal occupation of slaying the weak had become tedious.
He had a growing curiosity about how humans had lived their lives, tending and nurturing to their own, completely the opposite lifestyle of how T’zharr had experienced in the Netherworld. He wished to observe how mortals had lived their own lives and their vast cultures. When his desire to study the humans peaked, he resolved himsef to depart from the Netherworld and ascend to the plane above. However, this act exacted a steep price.
During his ascension, he had lost almost the entirety of his powers as punishment of abandoning his kin to pursue a foolish desire of his own, thus he could not return. All he had left was his own raw strength and what little knowledge he had to survive in the society of today. T’zharr had then noticed that strife and suffering existed amongst the mortals fighting among themselves and then thought of a way for him to gain favour with the humans by vanquishing the ones who tormented the weak while simutaneously immersing himself in the cultures and recreations around him. His experiences in meeting other heroes and committing favourable deeds had slowly turned this frigid, black-hearted demon into a jolly and protective giant of an individual.
